Hope Booth is a hit!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, money, donations and such to the Street Fair Art on the Green Hope Project Booth this last weekend.
For those of you that weren't able to make it you missed out!
We raised around $1500 in 3 days!!! Hopefully some of this money will go toward paying the staff in Tanzania with the Orphan Sponsorship program as this has been a great need lately.
Even more exciting: we were in the CDA Press August 6th (find us under the local section titled Hope builds grand homes) which we hope will raise even more awareness and commotion about the project in our community.
Just wanted to share the exciting news with you, I look forward to more exciting events to tell the world about how the Lord is continuing to work through the Hope Project and change lives around the world.

40 homes being built in Burundi!

Check out www.jrmd.org to learn about the Hope Projects efforts to build 40 homes in 40 days in Burundi, Africa with the help of the local organization: Youth in Reconstruction of a World in Destruction

The Hope Project has a blog!

This space is for anyone who has been, is thinking of being or is interested in being involved with the Hope Project: a non-profit organization currently working with locals in Moshi, Tanzania and Burundi Africa.
Please feel free to write about trip experiences, ask questions and communicate in anyway you would like about the project. Just remember this is a space that will be available to the public.
I hope this helps bridge a gap between those on trips with the project and those of us in the states that want to stay updated!
Let me know if you have questions!

Thanks,
Tawnya
